Chamonix Trail Running – one-day downhill mountain runs

Downhill running in the Alps

How would it feel to run only downhills? Come and try low-threshold Trail Running in the world’s most spectacular mountain running landscapes. We ascend with a running group by mountain train or mountain lift to an altitude of 2000 – 2500 meters, where we spend about an hour in a cafe, an ice cave, a mountain lake or a sun terrace, after which we run downhill for the rest of the day, taking appropriate photo and rest breaks. If you can run 10 km, this is your thing and a unique opportunity.

Chamonix – the capital of mountain running

Chamonix is the mountain running and mountain running capital of the world, the first city of the Winter Olympics and an idyllic mountain village on the border of France, Switzerland and Italy, in the middle of the magnificent Alps. The Chamonix valley has a wide variety of routes and the accessibility of the mountains in Chamonix is the best in the world thanks to the many mountain lifts and mountain trains that go up to a height of 2000 to 3850 meters. Chamonix is also an exceptional mountain village in that its summer season is bigger than the ski season and the accommodations in the entire mountain village are often sold out on summer weekends.

UTMB mountain running feeling

UTMB, Ultra Trail du Mont Blanc, is the world’s largest mountain running event in the capital of mountain running. With 10,000 Trail Running runners going around the 170 km route around the mountains, the race village takes over the Running Adventure atmosphere, which will give you a boost for next winter’s runs, and will make you come back to Chamonix again. Come and experience the Trail Running event from the feeling to a good running team. We run together on the most wonderful slopes of the Alps.
